Spirit of Determination

Woven for a beloved friend, elder, and proud Kwakiutl/Tlingit woman. Inspired by the signature colours of her coastal heritage, this design is carefully crafted to honor the prayers of her ancestors.

The Spirit of Determination, Orca, calls upon us to stoke the inner fires of our personal will and determination as we dive into the depths of our hearts. In moments of deep grief, these inner fires keep us steady and ready to meet our pain with love.

The Spirit of Determination is a variation of the original design named Spirit of Relations (2022). Thus, it also holds the prayer of unity and solidarity with all our relations.
